Steve Harvey’s Wife Defends His Miss Universe Fail

Marjorie Harvey is standing behind her husband Steve Harvey! Marjorie took to Instagram on Dec. 21 to defend her husband for accidentally crowning Miss Colombia instead of Miss Philippines and she says she’s proud of how he handled the royal mix up. But does that take away from the fact that he crushed Miss Colombia’s dreams and ruined Miss Philippines first night as Miss Universe?

Marjorie wrote: “You are a Stand Up Man and A True Class Act the way you went back out on the stage on live TV and took full responsibility alone. I am so proud to be your wife! I love you.” This is sweet but still doesn’t take away from the mixup and how when Steve apologized his tweets were misspelled. “I want to apologize emphatically to Miss Philippians and Miss Columbia. This was a terribly honest human mistake and I am so regretful.” Well he couldn’t read the card correctly and he can’t spell the countries either. He did delete these and post with the correct spellings though but still!
