Nigeria fell seven places to 66th in the latest FIFA world rankings released on Thursday.
The Super Eagles accumulated 541 points and are now 14th in Africa, behind Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, Tunisia, Senegal, Congo, Guinea, Egypt, Cameroon, Congo DR, Mali and Uganda.
Belgium ends 2015 as the highest-ranked team in the world. The Red Devils only reached number one last month and will maintain that position into 2016
Turkey are the best movers for December, after accumulating 329 points over the last year.
137 games were used to compile the latest rankings. 92 were World Cup qualifiers, 8 were play-off matches for the Euro 2016, while the remaining 37 were international friendlies.
