Have you seen the Movie and what do you think of the hype the popular movie franchise, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has smashed Christmas box office records.
According to reports, the film scored the biggest Christmas day gross of all time with an estimated $40 million on Friday. It is on track to take in $140 million for its second weekend in release, which will beat the record for biggest second weekend ever.
The previous Christmas day record was held by Sherlock Holmes with $24.6 million and the previous second weekend record was held by Jurassic World with $106 million.
