I did not collect N100m from Dasuki – Bode George

A former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George, has denied receiving N100 million from a former National Security Adviser, retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki.

George, in reaction to a story by Sahara Reporters that he received N100 million from Dasuki, which was part of the $2.9 billion arms deal, said he did not even set his eyes on the former NSA throughout his tenure.
This was contained in a statement on behalf of George by the Chairman of Lagos Collectives, Prof. Tejumade Akitoye-Rhodes.
The statement reads in full: “Sahara Reporters has now gone beyond the pale of gutter journalism in its utter malicious story linking Chief Bode George to a phantom N100 million allegedly collected from Sambo Dasuki, the former National Security Adviser.
